It's Not Yard Work, it's Gardening

"Friendship and flowers are the sweetest things in life."
Marsha, Yoga Kids Yoga Master

I made up a song, it goes, "If you're doing some fun, fun yard work Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair"

I was listening to the soundtrack of Hannah Montana: The Movie. It is wonderful for gardening, especially "Let's Get Crazy." That is a sure motivator. Then "Back to Tennessee" by Billy Ray Cyrus is heart-melting. "Crazier" by Taylor Swift makes me want to kiss someone, and "Hoedown Throwdown" makes me want to throw down my rake and do a jig.

Boom boom clap, boom de clap de clap!

The reward of yard work is flowers. Here we have some Mini Roses, Basil, and Cape Honeysuckle. I tried planting roses alone but they didn't like it. I am hoping they will do better in a group setting.

This photo does not do justice to how dirty I am at this moment. My neighbors to the south were all, "You should have gotten up earlier to do that." I replied emphatically, "That is a good idea." Then my neighbor to the west was all, "You are working hard today." I said, "Yes." Then he invited me into his backyard to see the fountain his men are installing. You see, gardening opens all kinds of doors.

Oooo. I LOVE your quote at the end. I might have to borrow that. And I laughed out loud at your Hooters response. Thanks for posting!
