Cherry Blossoms

Someday I would like to travel to Washington and see the Cherry blossoms.
I used to take voice lessons, and my teacher gave me a song called "Loveliest of Trees." It was about these same trees:

And take from seventy springs, a score
It only leaves me fifty more
And since to look at things in bloom
Fifty springs is little room
About the woodlands I will go
To see the Cherry- hung
With snow

I was a baby when I lived in D.C. and my Dad's favorite photo of me is me on his shoulders at the Cherry Blossom Festival. I was a little over 1, and I looked a lot like Maggie. :) The pink blossoms frame my whispy dark hair. I hope to see them again some day!
